The stop in Agra preceded the Quad Foreign Ministers’ meeting scheduled for Tuesday in New Delhi, which will bring together representatives from India, Japan, Australia, and the United States. The meeting is expected to focus on strengthening multilateral cooperation and regional engagement.
The visit also underscored cultural diplomacy alongside ongoing efforts to reinforce United States–India relations, which have faced strains in recent times due to tariff-related issues and diplomatic outreach involving Pakistan.
